Hello I'm Bruna :) A Portuguese writer, director, and digital producer based in London, obsessed with telling stories that linger long after the credits roll. With a background spanning Screen Development, Directing, Writing, Editing, and Producing, I’ve built my career around crafting intimate, visually rich, and emotionally resonant narratives that explore the beautifully messy complexity of being human.

My work includes films such as Flowered (2023), The Stairs (2023), and Uprooted (2024), each reflecting my love for imaginative storytelling, striking visuals, and characters navigating moments of transformation.

As a producer I have developed and saw end-toend production on original formats for brands including The LEGO Group and O2, refining concepts and format mechanics to create engaging, audience-focused content. Previously, at Warner Bros., I worked across internationally recognised formats including Supernanny, Who Do You Think You Are?, and Don't Tell the Bride, strengthening my understanding of the unscripted television landscape.

As a screenwriter, I’ve been lucky enough to receive recognition from some incredible organisations. I was a finalist for the prestigious CANNESERIES UNLIMITED Writers’ Residency, where I developed my TV series Glitz alongside STUDIOCANAL, and I won the International Screenwriters’ Association Drama Genre-Busting Competition. My feature screenplay The Engine landed me on ISA’s "25 Screenwriters to Watch" list in 2022, and earned a place on The Golden Script List in 2023.

In 2022, I returned to directing with Perfidia (2024), an upcoming short film that won Best Actor at the Koisce International Film Festival. I also directed Flowered (2023), a three-minute vertical short that unexpectedly blossomed into a global success story, reaching over one million views on TikTok, screening at six vertical film festivals worldwide, and winning Best Soundtrack at the Vertical Movie Festival and Best TikTok Film at the Diminuto Film Festival.

I’m also the creator of the web series The Stairs (2023), which has amassed more than 250,000 views on YouTube. The series won Best Dramedy and Best Set Design at the British Web Awards and was a finalist at the LAWeb Awards.

When I’m not developing my own stories, I work full-time as a producer at StudioB, collaborating with brands such as Netflix, Lego, and Adobe to create visually engaging campaigns and innovative digital content.
