Experienced Series Director/ PD/Shooting PD/Edit Producer who has worked for over 20 years on Prime time factual entertainment programs and branded content across a range of genres, including food, entertainment, science, History and lifestyle.

As a Senior Director I am confident Producing and Scripting 60 minute shows and taking them through to the edit. I also have extensive experience as an Edit producer and I know what it takes to construct a story and shape a program. 

I recently worked as Series Director for series 10 of 'Inside The factory' with Paddy McGuinness.   Editorially this involved  finding stories and contributors, writing and pitching treatments as well as Scripting a 60 minute program.   Visually it meant creating a refreshed style for the series alongside a DOP.  On location we worked with 3 cameras, a jib and drone to create a unique feel for each factory.  Bringing these elements together meant being accross shots we were getting,  as well as briefing contirbutors and Gregg Wallace our presenter.   Once filmed I took 5 of the episodes in to the edit. 

  Previously I worked as Series Director of 'Great British Menu' on BBC 2; directing 4-8 cameras in studio, producing the stories and overseeing all editorial content of 45 episodes. I understand how to run a large team and get the best out of producers on the floor, crew, and talent. I have a strong sense of what works visually and I like to think I bring a creativity and identity to everything I direct.

Although comfortable directing multiple crews, I also have extensive experience shooting on an array of cameras including the FS7, C300 and XD cams.
