Hi There!My name is Mitchell, a 23-year-old film nerd hungry to get his foot in the door of the film and television industry. I hail from Wellington, New Zealand where I studied film at Victoria University of Wellington and during this time, completed an exchange at the University of Texas in Austin where Matthew McConaughey, Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson formally studied and I was lucky enough to lectured by Felicia Henderson, the current showrunner/producer for Netflix's 'The Punisher'.Between July 2018 and June 2019, I was a Junior Producer in the production wing of Ogilvy NZ working extensively in pre-production and on set running for over 40 commercials. I have also had experience during two different internships with Curious Films, both in their Los Angeles and Auckland offices and Western Edge Pictures in Finsbury where I worked on pre-production for commercial shoots, promotional and investment work for an upcoming film being produced and gave notes on treatments, scripts and rough cuts of features the companies were working on.
