James is a Writer and Director from Devon, UK, whose short films have screened at a range of International and Bafta qualifying festivals.

James has a background in Theatre but has worked for nearly a decade in the film industry, first as a camera opp and then as a Production Designer. He's shot documentaries that have been broadcast by the BBC and designed music videos for bands like the Arctic Monkeys and Years & Years. James tries to use this experience in his directing work to tell playful, human stories, with a hands on and DIY approach.
