In 2011 Keaton got his first big break as a director, flying to the Folk Alliance International conference in Memphis to direct 30 live session music videos for artists like Joel Plaskett, The Deep Dark Woods and Lila Gilday. This was only possible thanks to a FACTOR grant obtained for The Sweet Beaver Suite sessions via Dollartone Records.In 2012 he graduated from Centennial College's Film program and worked as a director, editor and producer of narrative films and music videos.
His career spans different mediums and to date includes presenting large scale interactive media installations, as well as continuing his studies in media theory theory as a fellow in the Studio[Y] entrepreneurship program run out of the MaRS discovery district.Currently Keaton is working as a freelance videographer and editor on jobs ranging from wedding videos to short form documentaries.
