I have worked in edit assistant roles in both post-production and production companies, and have been involved in several projects where I have undertaken sound work. Whilst my main area of expertise lies in professional and creative applications of audio, I am also knowledgeable about editing, and I have a wealth of experience to draw upon in performing edit assistant work. I am adept at using Avid Media Composer and Premiere, and have considerable experience ingesting and managing media; cutting sequences; syncing and grouping clips; exporting and transcoding. I’m very familiar with performing end-of-edits, and I have a fairly extensive knowledge of video terminology and interpreting technical specifications.
