I’m a natural history researcher and self-shooter working in premium factual TV, currently at BBC Studios on Blue Planet III. I’ve been lucky enough to film and direct animal behaviour and behind the scenese sequences in places like Antarctica, South America and the Caribbean, blending solid science with cinematic storytelling.With a Marine Biology degree from the University of St Andrews, I love getting stuck into ambitious expeditions and shaping stories from development through to post. On Arctic Ascent with Alex Honnold, I helped lead a major research project in Greenland, juggling logistics, science and character-driven storytelling in a pretty extreme environment. On Blue Planet 3 I led on ambitious multidisciplinary shoots and scientific expeditions to uncover rare and ground-breaking behaviours. I’m a technical diver, divemaster, drone pilot and tech nerd at heart, happiest in remote places, underwater, on location, or building new camera setups to capture behaviour in fresh ways.
