At the NFTS I graduated with high distinction marks in multiple modules. Before film and television I was a solicitor, practising competition law. Competition law is the regulation of monopolies, mergers, state aid and cartels. It provides unique insight into multiple industries, and markets/companies with experience include: aerospace, military equipment, security, construction, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, rail, telecoms, utilities, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, horse racing, financial services, social care, and advertising.Career highlights include co-creating projects to co-development investment with Village Roadshow, script editor on the 6X60’ THE TRIAL OF CHRISTINE KEELER (BBC/Ecosse Films, 2019), and working on development projects with Mark Gatiss, Jeffrey Caine, Alan Whiting, Jim Hajicosta (producer, Rush) and the legendary late Nicolas Roeg (Don’t Look Now). After graduating from the London Film School, and later the NFTS, I worked as a script/book reader for multiple film and television production companies, and in particular for Slim Film and Television. I also worked as a freelance development executive and script editor on multiple film and television projects, developing several from option/idea to co-production investment.I have also worked on indie games and graphic novels and created returning film lectures for Southampton University. These workshops and lectures are Blueprint of a Short Film; Blueprint of a Feature Film and help the students brainstorm and structure their ideas and graduation projects.I am passionate about storytelling and genre, about finding and working with new talent, and about working with the writer and creative team to help them realise their vision. I strive to be thorough, team focused and sensitive in approach.
