I'm a BAFTA-nominated SP, Exec and edit producer with more than 25 years experience making primetime ob docs for the BBC1, BBC2 and BBC3, Ch 4 and 5, SKY and American broadcasters. I’ve also done Specialist Factual, Popular Factual and Children’s and have worked with presenters and talent.

Most of my output has been sensitive access-based films and series and so I've worked a lot with police, councils, the Army, the Home Office and in prisons and schools. I’ve recently done a lot of true crime too. I'm well-versed on driving character-driven narratives as well as being on top of the legal and compliance issues that come with these kinds of documentaries, along with knowing how to keep contributors happy and on board throughout and after a production. As an SP / showrunner, I've run big teams, done fast turn-arounds and shaped new series. I also love shooting and directing and edit producing and I’ve shot lots of taster pilots etc and I can cut on final cut pro.

I'm happy to work full or part time depending on the project. And have an out of london address for regional commissions. Read Less
