After twelve months without work due to the pandemic i am back working for the Royal Shakespeare Company as Associate producer with Henry VI Part 1 and The Comedy of Errors. Due to restrictions still in place within the theatrical world these two productions will not be seen live in cinemas. Instead they will have a limited cinema distribution by DCP. Henry VI was streamed live on the internet. When edited both productions will be available on line at a later date. It is great to be working again. I do hope that others are as well. These are difficult times for everyone. I am experienced with budgets and workflow. to distribution. The setting up of live outside broadcasts satellite to cinemas, broadcast on television and streamed on the internet. Post production delivering UHD4K DCP’s for international distribution, files for DVD release, broadcast television and streaming services. The use of a variety of technology including shooting and editing with UHD4K. I was also Associate producer and lighting director on twenty seven live broadcasts to cinemas around the world for the Royal Shakespeare Company The RSC screenings include live presentation, live interviews and three short features which we make as well. All material is recorded in UHD4K. The recordings are distributed globally as a DCP and released as DVD's. Six productions were shown on BBC as part of Culture in Quarantine this summer.
