Read MoreFreelance Camera Assistant/Trainee based in the always sunny North Yorkshire Dales. I have a very strong drive for my work and consider myself reliable, friendly and extremely passionate about the technical side of TV. Most of my camera assisting experience comes from work experience in rental houses and on set. I have been mainly working on short term contract's on the fantastic set of Emmerdale for 5 months, to which I have loved and enjoyed every moment of. This position was supposed to continue however Covid-19 has put that on hold for now. Im currently seeking to build my career in drama and Im keen to keep learning my craft and gaining skills to be the best I can be at my job. In my personal life I also have my own videography business to help keep me working between TV jobs. Im also an active caver who enjoys nothing more than crawling through passages deep below the hills here in the Yorkshire Dales, but also happy walking above them!. Im hoping to establish myself in my job role in and around Leeds/Manchester and was due to make the move before the pandemic hit. Im always willing to travel and get accommodation, so no job is too far for me! In 2019 I was very pleased to get a place on 'The Network TV' at the the prestigious Edinburgh TV Festival to which I successfully completed, I am also a member of BECTU and the GTC.
