I recent graduated from the the Film BA Honours degree course at the University of Westminster in 2019, I'm a young filmmaker and video editor with a passion for helping create engaging content. I am an enthusiastic creative who is used to putting in the extra hard work and time into producing high quality content with quick turnarounds.I have been editing since 2014, working on a range of projects from short dramas, documentaries, commercials, and corporate videos. I have been using AVID Media Composer since 2016 when I gained the Certified User certification; and have had experience using it in conjunction with edit share server systems, such as with AVIDs Nexus servers. I have experience working both freelance independantly and alongside teams as part of production companies, on set, in the studio, offices, and high end editing suites.My experiences as a filmmaker have taught me how to work effectively as part of a team in high pressure situations, as well how to lead a team for quick turnaround deadlines. For example, I worked on a project in which I had to manage a team of rotoscope artists cutting out every actor on screen for a 20 minute short film, where the post turnaround was only one month. Working on a wide range of projects, I have needed the flexibilty to adapt to loads of different situations, and I am used to probelm solving - I once used a C stand as a boom pole because the van driver forgot to bring it to the location shoot!I am used to troubleshooting workflows involved with various NLEs and with edit share systems. I've overseen the full post-production process on many short films, from on set ditting to onlining and delivery. I've also worked on projects involving sensitive footage for NHS, the British Museum, Netflix, Disney, and many others. I have extensive experience with managing ingest of large volumes of rushes, as well as it's organisation on shared servers and tape drives. I have worked on projects being delivered to Vimeo, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and used online storage systems such as Google Drive and Dropbox; as well as using third-party client online spaces. I also have extensive experience working professionally with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects, creating offline edits, graphics, and onlining. I have had experience using DaVinci Resolve roundtrip workflows as well as workflows contained entirley within AVID Media Composer. I have also had a lot of experience using Windows, Mac, and Linux - I have my own editing set up which runs on Windows. Read Less
