Self-shooting Documentary Director/Producer with over 20 years' experience working in observational documentaries and current affairs. My most recent film THE WRONG MAN: 17 years behind bars BBC2 tells the story of Andrew Malkinson who was wrongly convicted and imprisoned for 17 years (5 stars in The Guardian) Other Director credits include - 'I'm an Alcoholic: Inside Recovery' (BBC2 9PM), using groundbreaking technology to tell the story of Alcoholics Anonymous in the UK. I have made films (C4: How To Stay Out of Jail) exploring the unique work of a specialist police team rehabilitating criminals and keeping them out of prison. The film got 4 star reviews in The Times, The Independent and The Guardian. My specialities are dealing with contributors, especially vulnerable people in sensitive situations. I self-shoot on the Sony FS7, FX6 and FX9.
