My passions mainly lie in avenues which allow me to be creative and increase my knowledge and understanding of things. From an early age I have loved filmmaking, as far back as I can remember I was making stop motion animations and short films. After completing my very academic based A-Levels I realised that I wanted to pursue a future with a more creative focus, so my passion for film sent me down the path to my university degree where I grasped at the opportunity to write and direct my own films. This lead to my work as a freelance content creator, allowing me to use my skills, knowledge and passion to create something of value for growing companies. Aside from commercial work I still have a great drive to write and produce films, much of my spare time is spent working on scripts and ideas I intend to bring to life in the future, and making independent documentaries based in the North East. I also have a love for music and I am a keen musician. As the drummer in a band who have performed at the O2 Academy in Newcastle on four occasions and have multiple songs on streaming platforms such as Spotify and Google Play, I understand that hard work and dedication can propel you to achieve great things. I love partaking in anything which will allow me to express myself creatively, my particular joys at the minute are recording new music with the band, writing, whether it be scripts for films, short stories, novels or lyrics for songs, and filming and photographing anything and everything I can. I have experience writing and filming many different styles of content from promotional videos to short films, it is a great feeling when you create something which can elicit an emotional reaction from people. I believe music and film are the most impactful mediums for conveying ideas and feelings to each other, but the power of these mediums stems from how well they are written, how emotive and relevant the story is to whoever the audience might be. I have also been lucky enough to travel to many different countries, last summer I spent three weeks exploring Thailand and had the joy of photographing all manner of wildlife on a safari In Tanzania.
