An experienced BBC producer/director, firstly staff and then freelance, who’s made films for BBC World, Newsnight, Panorama and features World Service Radio docs. The topics ranged from survivors of Jimmy Savile to the covert mining of our personal data, connecting human interest to journalism. Formats have varied from ob-docs trailing the Glasgow Police on knife-raids and features on shopaholics to docu-dramas about teenage bullying. I can carry the whole production through, from self-shooting down to editing and self-editing and some of the programmes on which I have produced have won BAFTA/RTS honours, cited as Critics’ Choice and selected for viewings at international film festivals. I would like to carry on making output that gets under the skin of any topic, and in doing so, engages and entertains the audience, almost unconsciously. Read Less
