I recently graduated from the University of Sussex with a 2:1 in international relations and anthropology, and would love to take the first steps into a career in the film industry. In the past three years of studying I have been taught to look at the world in a more open minded manor. Understanding cultures, people, and how they think, have been the corner stone of my degree; however, it is in my opinion that this knowledge surpasses academia, and can be used particularly well in the field of film.Post Graduation i worked at Copa90, understanding that even the smallest connection with your audience opens several different directions in which to expand. Whether this be on a more strategic level, as I learnt with the marketing team, or a more emotive level, as was demonstrated when discussing potential documentary ideas for COPA 90’s campaigns towards women’s football and racism in the sport.
