My name's Mitchell, It's long been my ambition to work work in the TV and Film industry. Unfortunately upon leaving university in 2012, I found myself with no real employable skills to work within the industry, after brief stint as a runner, I took at job in Film and TV merchandise and forgot my passion for the medium.It wasn't till last year my passion for shooting and editing videos for my employer became apparent. I shot and edited short promotional videos for our companies social media accounts. I decided after this I would go back to school part time to learn industry level skills.I've recently finished a part-time six-month post production course in film and television at Met Film school in Ealing. I've learnt to use 6 different editing softwares; Avid, Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects,Final Cut Pro X and Da Vinci Resolve.I've loved working in Avid Media Composer, I would like to someday be an offline editor for feature films and TV dramas.I'm looking for a break into the industry for a first role as hopefully an edit assist to prove my worth and level of ambition I've always brought to my work.Thank you for taking the time to read this.Mitchell.
