Hello,My Name is Jordan Cook, A Twenty-One-year-old Middlesex University Graduate. I have just finished studying Fashion Communication where I specialised in Photography and Art Direction.Being a Photographer and Art Director enabled me to capture images that I felt were worthy of recognition and showcase them to the world. This skill is one that I cherish, as my outlook is never dull but full of possibilities. I can view without restrictions making me very open minded.Communication is key for me and despite my passion for Photography I ultimately aspire to work in the Television Industry. I consider myself to be a TV fanatic and as a young creative, my unconventional taste in television makes my approach rather exciting.I have had the privilege of creating unique projects in my final year at university inspired by the likes of classic BBC sitcoms ‘Keeping Up Appearances’ & ‘My Family’, where I incorporated both shows using my skills as an Art Director, Stylist and Photographer.The project was a success and my desire to showcase my love for television didn’t stop there, as I also investigated why the phenomenon that was ‘Top of the Pops’ would be unable to exist today, even with people still having a longing for its sense of nostalgia.Additionally, I also had the chance to create my own series of eight images which were inspired by the ITV classic ‘Midsomer Murders’ using a crime inspired aesthetic to give the pictures full effect.I have also had experience presenting in a TV studio and hosting my own radio show whilst at university, demonstrating that my interest for the industry goes even further.As an individual, my determination to succeed is my incentive for everything. I strive for excellence in all that I do and this remains a consistent quality of mine. No matter how long a task may take, I will complete it.Thank you for your time.
