Soon after graduating I spent 3 months in Botswana, where 6 weeks were spent as a Camera Assistant on a Blue Chip shoot. In the following years I gained lots of experience in filmmaking, with various companies, on shoots for clients such as BBC Countryfile Live, Sheffield United, Sainsbury's and First Bus.Just before Covid 19 struck, I moved to Bristol to pursue my dream of Natural History and was fortunate to jump into work experience at Oak Island Films and successfully interview for a Story Developer job on BBC Springwatch 2020. I absolutely loved my experience on BBC Springwatch, often seeing footage for the first time out of anyone and having to relay this information to the team to make sure the story was told as it unfolded. This job set me up perfectly for my current job at The Robert Fuller Gallery where I am responsible for 30+ cameras and the stories that come from them. My main responsibilities are clipping and logging footage, managing YouTube livestreams, Facebook Lives and creating short films with a quick turnaround for social media.
