Hi I'm Katie! I'm a Floor Runner and AD Trainee with bases in Norfolk and London with experience working as a runner on set on a feature film, as well as directing and producing for several short films. In 2023, I was accepted onto the ScreenSkills HETV Trainee Finder 2023/24.I recently produced and directed my first short film, Shared, which also formed my final project for my MA in Film and Television Production at The University of Hertfordshire, which I graduated from last month. Whilst I gained invaluable production experience throughout this course, I also became skilled in video editing particularly with Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro and I dabbled with Avid Media Composer. Thanks to this experience, I have been able to also work as a video editor alongside my production work.I also work as the Reception supervisor for my local health club whilst I begin my career in the industry, which not only means I am first aid and pool responder trained, but I am excellent at clerical and administrative tasks, taking initiative and I am very used to early starts and late finishes!
