I am a self-shooting producer, with a background in journalism and a PhD in psychology and am passionate about bringing social justice and human stories to life on screen. I enjoy combining my creative skills with journalistic rigour to develop and produce documentaries that cover complex topics while also enlightening and entertaining the audience. 

My first feature observational documentary, 1001 Days, was selected for Sheffield Doc Fest 2023 and IDFA. Most recently I've been working as a Producer/Director with the Bafta-winning Economist Films, where I am involved in end-to-end digital documentary production. The topics range from the war in Ukraine and the global decline in press freedom to the politicisation of abortion and transgender rights in sport. I am now determined to move into documentaries for broadcasters and streamers.

Trained broadcast journalist with a background in current affairs/specialist factual.
Proven track record of finding stories, casting characters and securing funding for independent projects.
Confident self-shooter on all cameras including FX6, FS7, C300, a7s ii and go pros, and experience directing crews in person and remotely. 
Experienced in negotiating sensitive access and dealing with sensitive and vulnerable contributors. 
Lived and worked in Russia and Argentina and have filmed extensively internationally including in South Africa, America and Germany.
Experienced editor on Premiere Pro and Final Cut, with skills in Photoshop and After Effects.
PhD in psychology with excellent research, data, fact-checking and analysis skills.
Advanced Spanish.
Full clean driving licence and enhanced DBS check.
