I am a highly motivated individual looking to enter the film and television industry with a specific interest in "on set" work.I have recently participated in two weeks of work experience at Working Title, where I thoroughly enjoyed assisting the office runners while gaining an understanding of how the office and company as a whole operates. I am applying for this job because I have a strong passion for film and Television, and I am fully committed to finding a way to enter the industry as a runner, with the intention of ultimately moving towards a production-based role.In previous jobs I have worked in customer facing roles which necessitated tactful communication skills, problems solving, and the ability to prioritize tasks handed to me by upper management. In addition, I am highly experienced in administration roles involving cash handling, team management, stock control, AV equipment handling and general reception duties.My current job role as a scriptwriter within the commercial radio industry has enabled me to gain useful writing experience and audio editing/mixing skills while working towards tight deadlines. The job has also provided me with useful experience of dealing directly with important company clients, and I believe that this skill is directly transferable to the film and TV industry in terms of client facing duties such as providing directors, producers and talent with anything that they request in an efficient and professional manner.
