Read MoreA highly-organised bilingual (Spanish/English) Production Manager, with vast experience setting up complex shoots worldwide, both on and off location, including places such as the North Pole, Botswana, Australia, New Zealand, Panama, Belize, USA, and Namibia amongst others, as well as in remote islands. Used to managing different productions at the same time, as well as simultaneous edits in a very fast-pace environment.
Based in Bristol but happy to work remotely. Can also go to London to work in the office two or three days a week.
EXPERIENCE
- Working on projects from development to postproduction.
- Creating budgets from scratch.
- Managing petty cash, floats, cost managers and budgets.
- Setting up shoots worldwide, including remote locations. This included dealing with visas, carnets, booking accommodation, transport (taxis, car rentals, mini bus, van), equipment, catering, managing local teams, etc.
- Sourcing and booking locations and all associated permits.
- Building relationships with crew, fixers and translators worldwide.
- Liaising with suppliers, engaging freelancers and negotiating rates.
- Overseeing all health and safety of the production.
- Ensuring all contracts, rights and clearances are in place.
- Dealing with talent, agents and crew.
- Responsible for booking post-facilities.
- Postproduction deliverables for most of the channels, including Carbon Footprint.
SKILLS
- Fluent speaker of Spanish and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Competent with Movie Magic Scheduling and Budgeting. (I own both programs)
