Hello all!

My name is Sam,  I have 7+ credits as a Casting Researcher, primarily in fact ent. I also have additional experience in research, development, welfare, archive, and shooting.

Most recently, I cast for 'Sewing Bee' (BBC). This involved an intensive outreach campaign, followed by a high volume of phone/Zoom interviews, writing in-depth interview summaries, creating engaging bios, and conducting extensive background checks. 

Before this, I cast for First Dates (C4) I was a Researcher and Edit Assistant on You’re Fired (BBC2) and had numerous casting roles on productions including Renovation Rescue (BBC1), The Great British Menu (BBC2), Extreme Families (UKTV), Unique Boutique (C4), and Flat Out Fabulous (BBC3).

I also worked as a Shooting Researcher, developing and filming VTs across the UK on The Great British Menu, (BBC2)   I also spent several months as an Archive Researcher on the series. 

I have Welfare Researcher experience on Unique Boutique (C4), joining the team on location to support contributors.

I've also worked as a Development Researcher for TwoFour, Rawcut, and Boomerang, contributing to several commissioned Fact-Ent shows, including What Would Your Kid Do (ITV) and Strip Date (C5).
