David is a Manchester based writer-director with 18 years of filmmaking experience. He has run a full production company and Red cinema camera hire company, which gave him a great knowledge of 35mm camera equipment, lenses and grip. In 2009 David won a comic con short film prize for, ‘The Insane’ judged by Tom DeSanto (Transformers, Battlestar Galactica) and directed the 2013 theatrically released feature film, I against I for Stray Dogs Films which saw release on iTunes, sky movies and DVD globally. Currently, David is working in the fashion and luxury-brand commercials sectors, creating pieces for companies like Bentley and Hugo Boss. His films are rich and highly stylised with a deep cinematic flair and heavy use of strong colours and sophisticated lighting.
