At the age of 13, he had his first go at filmmaking. It involved cardboard boxes, green fabric and toy guns. He cloned himself.
Robbie then moved to the UK to fulfill his passion for cinematography and camera work.
Having recently graduated with a BA(Hons) in Film, Theatre & Television from the University of Reading, he has spent a lot of time on sets, ranging from short fiction films and music videos to more recently having flown to New York working closely with BoohooMan and professional boxer Jorge Linares.
His dissertation film, MONSTER, involved a long take that was singled out for praise, for creating an expression of freedom and defiance: ‘a moment of the sublime’. The film was later made part of the official selection for the 17th Korea Queer Film Festival.
Robbie is extremely passionate about filmmaking and is always interested in creating video and movie content. In his spare time Robbie enjoys developing his inspiration through good films, good food and good (cheap) wine.
