An RTS winning and BAFTA nominated director, specialising in intimate character-led documentaries, I have made films about adoption, hate crime, the British aristocracy, HIV/AIDS and homelessness.

I recently Series Directed AIDS: The Unheard Tapes, an innovative telling of the AIDS crisis using voices recorded in the 80s and 90s and lip synched by actors. This critically acclaimed series was nominated for BAFTA, RTS and Broadcast awards and was described as "a beautiful testament to everything and everyone who has gone before” by The Guardian and "the most powerful documentary you're likely to see this year" by The Sun.

My first feature documentary, My Kidnapper, about my own kidnapping in Colombia, played in over thirty countries and received a cinematic release in the UK, winning four star reviews from The Guardian, Time Out and The Times and was described by Variety as “a fascinating documentary about the search for closure”.

I divide my time between documentaries, commercials and branded content, creating films for John Lewis, Hello Fresh, Deliveroo, Sainsburys, Land Rover, L'Oreal, Walkers, Wilkinson Sword, EDF Energy and O2, as well as short films for OXFAM, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, British Society of Heart Failure and the Time to Change mental health charity.
