An enthusiastic and adaptable self-shooting Producer/AP interested in documentary, lifestyle, and factual-entertainment roles, focused on portraying the stories of real people on screen. I love being on location, and can also balance responsibilities well when working in remotely, in an office environment, and with talent and contributors. As well as being a confident self-shooter, I have experience in casting and welfare, with strong references across several genres of unscripted formats.

For the past five years I have worked within various roles across Escape to the Country (Naked West for BBC One), from casting to location. This has involved researching, scripting, and self-shooting VTs (often single-camera), as well as leading a small team in the office and on location. This year I have worked on all three series currently in production within the Escape brand - including on I Escaped to the Country as a shooting Producer Director, and on Celebrity Escape to the Country as a Content Producer. 

Earlier this year I was a VT Assistant Producer on Jamie: Eat Yourself Healthy (Jamie Oliver Productions for Channel 4), which involved being the sole member of the team responsible for casting all contributors featured across the series, and being across welfare. I also researched the scientific concepts and processes we were covering within the VTs, liaising with expert scientists to fact check our scripts and set up filming days in labs, before shooting alongside the PD on location.

I enjoy working with contributors and have a strong casting background. In my roles on The Bad Skin Clinic (Full Fat TV for Discovery) I worked with vulnerable contributors, handling the topics of their private medical conditions with sensitivity and care both during the casting process and when shooting their master interviews and clinic appointments. This also included filming surgeries and procedures. 

My other credits include The One Show (Freeform Productions for BBC One) and Christmas at London Zoo (IWC Media for Channel 4).

I have a full, clean, UK driving licence and am a confident driver.  Read Less
