An enthusiastic and adaptable self-shooting AP interested in documentary, lifestyle, and factual-entertainment roles, focused on portraying the stories of real people on screen. I balance responsibilities well when working in studios, on location, and with talent or contributors. I come from an historical research background with strong references across several genres of unscripted formats.


After three successive years working in various roles on Escape to the Country (Naked West), I have most recently been brought across by Series Editor, Emma Smith, to lead AP on the brand-new spin-off series, Celebrity Escape to the Country. I have developed the existing format into something different and exciting with creative scriptwriting and innovative filming ideas. I have established strong working relationships with the talent, talent management, and estate agents. On location I am a self-shooter using Sony-FX6, working both collaboratively with the PD and independently when directing my own segments of the show. 

Prior to this, I was an Assistant Producer on Christmas at London Zoo (IWC Media for Channel 4). I began work in the prep stages of this Obs Doc, booking talent and organising other elements such as a choir, whilst liaising with the zoo press office to gain access. On location my focus was on story, keeping our pre-planned hits in mind but adapting the schedule as stories developed. The final element of my role was  to support the edit with feedback on story progressions and by writing useful biographies on animals and zoo keepers.

I was grateful to be selected as a delegate for The Network 2019, where I worked with an amazing small team to create a short documentary for Barcroft Studios in under 24 hours. Full, clean, UK driving licence. Read Less
