Bristol based assistant producer in Natural History currently working on a landmark blue chip series, field directing and shooting on location, then guiding the story/edit. I'm an experienced documentary producer, from conception to creation - unflappable, story-driven and a strong shooter. I have experience managing a small team, including overseas in hostile environments.- Experienced in setting up/working independently overseas and field directing in remote/hostile environments. I've worked in Papua New Guinea, Kamchatka, Afghanistan, Malawi, Somalia, South Sudan, France, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and have a valid I Visa for the USA. I know what it takes to ensure a seamless shoot abroad, even in unstable areas. - Strong story skills. Logging behaviour in Avid meticulously and pulling together a narrative in a detailed edit outline. Very competent with other editing software: Davinci, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. - Proficient self-shooter, from DSLR/mirrorless to Sony FX6/7 or even jumping on a RED if the need arises. I'm also drone qualified up to A2(CofC). - Qualified journalist with an acute awareness of storytelling and ethics.
