Self-shooting director with a passion for specialist factual, blue light and observational documentaries centring around culture, community, music and ethics.  I've self-shot, produced and directed in the UK and abroad for all BBC channels including iPlayer, Channel 4 and Channel 5. I’ve edit produced short- and long-form films; pitched and scripted logistically and editorially complex films; and consistently react to challenging circumstances with professionalism, clarity, and creativity. 

Recent highlights include: Ambulance [BBC1/Dragonfly], 24 Hours in A&E [Channel 4/The Garden], Andi Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts [BBC2/South Shore], Fresh Cops [BBC3/FullFat] and First Ladies of Hip Hop [BBC1/Emporium]

Personal interests: I have a Masters in World History and Cultures, specialising in post-colonial Caribbean political movements, writing on racial identity in Iran, the Caribbean, North America, and the UK. I’m committed to expanding inclusion on and off screen in my films. I’m an avid fiction and non-fiction reader, love to swim outdoors, and my musical tastes range from Ravel to Roy Ayers, Brahms to Beyoncé.
