I graduated in 2019 from St Mary’s University, Twickenham with a BA first class honours in film and Screen Media. I am applying for this role as I have a keen passion for everything surrounding audio and podcast production. I am both interested in the technical and creative side of the audio industry, and through my roles of producer, assistant producer and production assistant at various radio stations such as BBC Radio 1Xtra and Flex FM, alongside being a podcast producer and editor on three genre varied podcasts, I have found myself immersed in the world of audio. I continually intend to display myself as organised and communicative in order to produce my best work in all environments as well as maintaining a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. I enjoy being part of a team and connecting with people, in addition to involving myself in creative projects across all audio platforms. Whilst undertaking the roles of producer and assistant producer, I have had the opportunity to develop shows and create new segments for presenters, as well as provide reports and produce scripts to be used live on air. I continually intend to display myself as highly motivated, confident and creative in order to produce my best work in all environments, alongside having an active sense of attention to detail. I thrive on pushing the boundaries within creative audio production, and have involved myself in various studio environments, not solely through radio and podcasting but as a music producer. I find myself curious in relation to all elements of creative digital production, and subsequently have experience using a multitude of softwares, for instance Logic Pro X, Amadeus Pro, Adobe Suite and Pro Tools, which are used in my home studio, in addition to being used with a wide range of advanced audio tools such as Ozone 9. Most recently I have worked as a digital producer, producer and editor for ‘The Bugle Podcast’, ’Bush’s Board Game Thing Podcast’ and ‘Undertones Podcast’ where I have grown my technical skills, and produced a wide range audio related content, alongside managing official social media and YouTube accounts. Across these podcasts I have worked with notable names such as Absolute Radio drive-time presenter Andy Bush as well as comedians Nish Kumar and Andy Zaltzman to name a few.
