She wrote and produced the short film, ‘Shoes’ which made official selection for multiple international film festivals including LSFF and Portobello and writes and films her own sketches, some of which have been featured on The Huffington Post, The British Comedy Guide and been shortlisted for a Funny Women Award. Her sketch, ‘Facebook Parents’ about those pesky, oversharing parents we all love to hate has had over 100k views.In addition, Alexis is an emerging playwright and her works include ‘Volcano’ at Theatre Royal Stratford East (mentored by Rikki Beadle-Blair MBE and John Gordon of Team Angelica), ‘Always The Bride’ at Wimbledon Studio Theatre (‘Funny and well observed’, Wimbledon Guardian), and ‘Before And After’ at The Arcola. She has also performed stand-up in character as Aussie wannabe, ‘Denise’ to great acclaim: Finalist in Colchester New Comedian Of The Year, Semi-Finalist in The Funny Women Stand-Up Awards, Semi-Finalist in Leicester Square New Comedian Of The Year and shortlisted for ‘So You Think You Are Funny’.
