A highly experienced Development Exec and Head of Development - who loves noisy ideas and challenging productions. I work across multiple genres - loving documentary and current affairs, as well as comedy entertainment and specialist factual. This dexterity has earnt me a reputation for innovation and a long list of commissions - including several returning series.

Passionate about telly and story, I like the detail of development as well as the big pitch - working out the structure of a narrative, or the mechanics of a format, and producing powerful posters and sizzle reels. I'm also skilled at managing teams and find satisfaction in helping junior colleagues develop their skills (as well as shows). 

Often taking projects into production, I’ve been core to shaping the editorial of technically complicated and tonally sensitive documentaries, as well as managing access and talent relationships. I’ve directed full crews, self-shot second camera, set up tricky foreign shoots and written detailed scripts - as well as edit produced for both comedy and documentary.
