I am a very versatile, hardworking Director / Producer, making films for British and international broadcasters. I was one of six people selected by the BBC on their New Directors Initiative in 2017. I have directed a two single films for the BBC, 'Abused by my Girlfriend', which has just been nominated for a Broadcast Digital Award and 'Toxic Town: The Corby Poisonings'.I have co-Directed a feature documentary for the BBC / Irish Film Board and I was 2nd Unit Director on a feature documentary for BBC Films / Irish Film Board. I also have extensive drama development experience; I have worked with many writers, and have developed both feature films and tv series' for major broadcasters and studios.I have obtained difficult access on many of the films I have worked on, and have extensive experience in dealing with sensitive and tricky subjects. My films have tackled the subjects of birth defects, male domestic violence, and the impact of the Troubles in Northern Ireland on innocent victims who lost loved ones. My films are always strongly narrative-based and I have experience in both retrospective and observational stories.I also have much experience working in development, developing documentary ideas for all the major broadcasters.
