That being said, I have always been interested in anything to do with cameras, and I enjoy how film enables us to capture and change the real world through the use of aesthetic choices by means of constructing a new story. Therefore, I taught myself how to edit via Premiere Pro and produced various short-films myself which can be accessed via https://vimeo.com/user82792580. Here, I put a strong emphasis on the relationship between image and music, and how they interrelate with one another.
Moreover, I am especially interested in the process of colour grading, as it enables us to change the entire aesthetic outlook of a work and thus its aura. Therefore, I have privately started learning how to use DaVinci Resolve, as well as I have sat in with Graeme Haeyes, the colour grader of the company I currently work for. Here, I was able to gain an insight into what it means to work as a professional colourist, which has only further motivated me to pursue a career in the field.
Moving on, I have previous runner and customer service experience, from which I have learned how to efficiently integrate myself as part of a team, as well as how to communicate with co-workers and clients in a friendly, professional and respectful manner. I would, therefore, describe myself as a highly determined, organized, friendly and creative person who enjoys facing a challenge in order to grow from it.
