Aaron LaMarr Burleson is a writer, director, and performer based in Los Angeles by way of Palmdale, California. He is a graduate of UCLA where he first developed his passion for storytelling and started a collective, Lawah Dawah, working with diverse creatives to produce short films and sketches. As former Head of Content for Issa Rae Production's The Peak, Aaron wrote and directed digital content that accumulated millions of views. He is a UCB Diversity Scholarship recipient and also writes and performs for a socially conscious sketch troupe, LaughtivismLA, where the goal is to spur social change and awareness through comedy.
