TELEVISION My principal work over the past fifteen plus years has been coming up with new ideas and writing treatments for new shows for networks including ID, TV1, Sci Fi, TLC, HGTV, Discovery Health, OWN, Planet Green, Bravo, Travel Channel, Animal Plant, A&E, History Channel, National Geographic, NBC, and Lifetime. On all of these shows I was responsible for format, shooting style, writing the first full script and then directing the taster or pilot. At Mike Mathis Productions I also came up with ideas for scripted series and sold the company's first of its kind for Lifetime Movie Network.Before I worked at MMP I worked for World of Wonder where I took concept from pitch to pilot which was sold to Bravo (House Busters). I show ran the Wired For Sex series and helped develop ideas for Sci Fi, NBC and other networks.THE WEB & ADVERTISING I've created content for dozens of websites, from Deepak Chopra's multimedia-based company to film and television sites. I've worked in advertising writing scripts for television and radio promo’s and PSAs. I created copy for Fox Television pilot season promos, interstitials, industrials and advertising spots for major motion pictures on television and radio.PHILOSOPHY Everyone is capable of greatness given the right opportunity.
