My name is Alex. I am primarily a documentary editor for film & TV, specialising in narrative structure and character-driven storytelling. I have also cut extensively across the spectrum: high-budget commercials, live-action shorts, campaign films, and music videos. The format changes; the obsession with story doesn't.I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and have worked in all three languages on productions in the UK, Spain, and Latin America. Recent credits include editing ten episodes of 'The Listening Post' for Al Jazeera and two episodes of 'Cinco' for TRT World. I have an additional editing credit on the feature film 'Apollo I', directed by Mark Craig, which streamed on MUBI, CH4 and ARTE, as well as screened at Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival and Boulder International Film Festival. I also worked as an assistant editor on the feature film  'Running for the Revolution', which streamed on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.​I am a very collaborative person and love working towards a shared goal with others.
