A professional Videographer and Photographer, specialising in documentary and natural history, currently based in South Wales. After graduating from Falmouth University with a first class honours degree in Marine & Natural History Photography, I have spent the last two years gaining a large amount of industry related experience. This includes extensive second shooter training and work for a multi award winning media company called WeCreate, based in South Wales. Producing and managing digital content for The Sup Hut a water sports company. Freelance commissions and independently directing and producing a feature documentary shown around the world under the name TideVisuals, and currently in my role as Videographer for NPTC Group of Colleges, one of the largest further education providers in Wales. This has given me a great insight and experience of the daily tasks and operations carried out within a fast paced industry. Understanding project management to specific briefs and strict deadlines, providing the utmost attention to client specifications and interaction to produce outstanding material.I am IT literate to a high standard, and have great technical proficiency using Microsoft Office (or equivalent packages) and its related applications to create various types of documents, enhancing productivity. I frequently use top end equipment and resources such as Canon, Sony, Nikon, Panasonic, Rode and Sennheiser in a number of ways to capture high quality film, photo and audio. Additionally, I have undergone full comprehensive training to use various cinema camera systems, lighting systems, audio equipment and have put these skills to good use both during my time at University and in industry over the last few years, including filming projects in 4K. I have extensive knowledge and expiring using programs in Adobe Creative Suite such as, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Indesign and Audition. I regularly utilise these programs in my practical workflow when sorting, editing and managing content. I am constantly striving to progress and further develop my current skills and knowledge. I am interested and open to new challenges, techniques, methods and tasks. I am enthused by new and exciting obstacles and I believe that collaborating with a team of like-minded individuals is where ideas can really flourish.
