I’m keen to progress my career in Post-Production and am looking for roles as an Edit Assistant. I’m also happy to take on Data Wrangler roles.I have just finished a job on Dancing on Ice as an Edit Runner (this role was technical rather than hospitality based). I absolutely loved this job and ended my contract having learned how to manually ingest footage, as well as ingesting using software such as content agent, syncing and grouping media, producing music edls, bringing in archieve, and managing exports etc. By the end of my contract I loved taking on these responsibilities and am keen to carry on working in this area of the industry and continue gaining new skills and experience.I was responsible for managing the movement of rushes to the edit, ensuring the Edit Producers and Editors were never waiting too long for material by booking couriers efficiently and liaising with the Data Wrangler on location. I pulled specific material for the Edit Producers, produced ULAYs, and was responsible for compiling material for the end of production “wrap tape” before handing this over to the Editor in the last week. I loved looking after this and used it as an opportunity to practice some editing techniques. I became confident using Avid and using keyboard shortcuts. I also have experience with Premiere Pro.I’ve done a number of jobs as a Data Wrangler or wrangled as part of other jobs, and have always kept an edit-focused and detailed rushes log. I have always been organised and meticulous in managing media and cards - I love some labelled boxes and colourful tape!!I’m really keen to take on more opportunities and learn, and always like to have a chat and help others. I’m quite flexible with working hours & days, and am based in London.
