I have a strong passion for factual-entertainment and entertainment television, both of which I have experience in as part of production and development. In development, I've honed my skills across three multi-commission winning teams: Tern Television (Zinc Media), Beezr Studios, and Afro-Mic Productions (Small Indie of the Year 2023, Edinburgh TV Fest).
Each of these teams have been close-knit, allowing me to play an integral role in every element of TV development, from leading brainstorms for new ideas and pitching to commissioners, to producing the commission winning decks following periods of funded development. Aside from helping win commissions for BBC Three, Channel 4 and BBC Scotland, my main achievement to-date has been writing, formatting and designing the pitch proposal that helped secure the commission of 'Martin Compston's Scottish Fling', an RTS Scotland award-winning 6-part series for BBC Two/BBC Scotland
Aside from development, I've worked on a number of productions such as Dragons' Den (BBC One), Wild Weekends (BBC Three), Tool Club (CH4) & A Place in the Sun (CH4) where I developed a range of skills including: casting, data wrangling, sourcing locations, phone bashing, negotiating access, background checks, music clearance, working with high end talent and basic editing. In my previous role as a Casting Researcher on 'Dragons' Den', I was responsible for successfully finding over 20 exciting new businesses for the series.
