I have recently joined the freelance world after over 20 years as a series Producer and Producer/Director at the BBC. I was a Senior Broadcast Journalist in Current Affairs with wide experience across the BBC in Specialist Factual, Documentaries and Science programmes. I direct observational, investigative and presenter-led documentaries. I created the series 'Dinner with Portillo' and worked for many years directing films at BBC Political Documentaries. I have a lot of experience directing presenters such as John Sergeant, Michael Portillo, Jeremy Vine and Gerry Robinson. One of my strong talents is helping presenters and contributors to perform well on camera both on location and in the studio. I speak fluent French and Spanish and have worked on films for the BBC in India, Bangladesh, the South Pacific, the US and throughout Europe. Read Less
