I am an award-winning multilingual producer-director graduated at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Italian National Film School). I am based between Brussels (Belgium) and Palermo (Italy) I fluently speak several languages (Italian/French/Spanish/German/Dutch) with excellent people skills.Since more than a decade I work in the international market as exec, director and producer with a strong visual perspective and care for the distribution approaches. I have a bold experience in storytelling and I have worked with major public broadcasters including ARTE, RTBF, RAI, WDR as well as with platforms such Amazon Prime and Netflix.In 2013 with my first feature doc "Pietra Pesante", I've been awarded as 'Best Young Italian Filmmaker' by the New York Film Academy and the New York Italian Institute of Culture. I directed "Il bar del Cassarà", docuseries released by RaiFiction in 2015. I am author and director of the award winning feature film "The Second Life", broadcasted by ARTE and RTBF and cinema released in Germany in 2020. I am author, co-producer and co-director of the Netflix six-part docuseries "Vendetta: truth, lies and The Mafia" released on September 2021.I am a creative producer who fully enjoy the whole process, defining original narratives, gaining and maintaining access with challenging contributors, filming with them to a high standard till the final cut. As director and assistant director, I had experiences in drama so I am used to articulated workflows with large crews and involving actors.
