I am an ambitious zoologist and passionate wildlife photographer at the beginning of a career in documentary filmmaking and production. After attaining my honours degree in Zoology, I have travelled extensively to expand my photographic portfolio, while also working in conservation, marketing, and hospitality positions. A scientific minded individual, I am driven to apply my academic background to research and production to create groundbreaking documentary films. This, coupled with years of camera experience and expansive travel, has developed me into a valuable asset to any production team. I am passionate about using media as a tool to tell great stories of the natural world, and believe the power of natural history television is unmatched in its ability to instil awe on its viewers.EXPERIENCEFIELD RESEARCHER/CAMERA ASSISTANT / Africa / Jan-May 2020During the first half of 2020, I am working for a London based production company, as part of team going to film on location in southern Africa, where I will be spending 15 weeks. I will be working closely with the DOP, as a camera assistant as well as a researcher on location. My roles will include:• Keeping animal behavioural logs
• Liaising with local guides and wildlife researchers
• Second shooting, kit maintenance, and sound recording
• Logging of footage and data wrangling
