My name is Riccardo Cerolini, I’m a filmmaker, photographer and editor. I have just completed a MA course in documentary film-making at Goldsmiths, London, following my studies theory of cinema in Rome, and I have been working as a freelance from then.My dedication to documentary has originated in the deepest interest in cinematography, thanks to the approach to Neorealism, and developed in the crafting, testing and continuous research in visually telling stories of humanities, of the “particular realities” across cultures and generations.I crave the possibility of putting these years of preparation and training into practice, at a new level of collaboration and team working, with parameters and professionals among the highest standards and finding the right challenges and viewpoints to implement one of the developing projects I have conceived in the latest months.My project, often focus closely on a specific human and social dynamics, and starting from the small particulars to lead to the big topics of our reality like consumerism and capitalism or religion.I’m ready to show what I can really do which is impossible to demonstrate through a CV via email.
