I worked with Kaelyn on an ambitious short form blue chip series. We were looking for wildlife stories to film all over the world with very specific editorial parameters, a narrow filming window and budget restrictions. Kaelyn excelled in every aspect. Her story finding was excellent, backed up with solid academic research but also with an eye for what makes a good emotional story. Kaelyn’s approach to her role is great, she’s obviously passionate about wildlife and conservation while showing a good understanding of her audience. She’s confident speaking to scientists, researchers and presenting ideas to producers and series producer. She was also a valuable member of the team on location, adding DIT, time-lapse and second camera to her list of skills – and keeping smiling in difficult situations. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
