I am looking to begin a career in film and television, and am looking for runner or similar entry level roles so that I can gain experience and learn about the industry.I have been travelling on and off over the past 6 years and have had many wonderful experiences and encounters with people who have had fascinating stories to tell. I would love to find a job that allows me to contribute to the telling of people's stories. As a traveller I have had developed a broad set of skills through taking on a wide variety of temporary paid and volunteer jobs. My skill set now encompasses administration, hospitality, event management and tour guiding and I am particularly good at adapting to new situations and picking up new jobs quickly. I am interested in art and have volunteered in the creative teams at several festivals and events, building decorations, dressing stages and painting signs. I have also volunteered in the costume department on a film where I was able to get a taste for what work on a film set was like and to practice sourcing costumes, making repairs and doing continuity checks. I am well suited to working at a fast pace with limited resources when necessary.After many years of travelling I have found a home in Bristol and am looking to start a career that allows me to be creative and develop in a professional context.
