I have enjoyed a successful career in broadcast television for over 22 years. I am an experienced Avid editor and also an accomplished camera operator.I am a conscientious creative with drive and a positive outlook. Originally with a background in News and Current Affairs, I am well versed at working quickly, to high standards and within tight deadlines. I have gained strong instincts for visual and audio pacing and constructing bold, flowing story narratives from my experience editing network documentaries, factual entertainment and true crime series.I have enjoyed working on a number of successful productions across a broad range of genres. I have edited network programmes for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky.In 2017 I edited The Aberfan Young Wives’ Club documentary which won a National Royal Television Society award. Following this, I was nominated and shortlisted for Editor of the Year at BAFTA Cymru in 2018.In 2019 I edited the ITV network crime series Code Blue: Murder. I also filmed the drone footage for this observational documentary.
