Read MoreRTS winning and Grierson shortlisted Series Producer/ Director and Series Edit Producer, with a 20 year track record producing successful factual, features and formatted content, across a range of genres: observational documentary, current affairs and factual entertainment. I have extensive experience overseeing projects from development to commission, through to production and delivery.
Key strengths include negotiating sensitive access leading to commission - filmed "Stacey Dooley and the Lockdown Babies" on the Women's and Newborn Unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary at the start of the pandemic; the series "Yorkshire Midwives on Call" followed the home birth midwives from the same hospital over a year post pandemic. Enjoy identifying strong editorial narratives, developing storylines as they unfold, managing teams, scripting and running multiple edit suites.
Series Edit Producer on Bangers & Cash (since April 2023), joined on Series 8 and currently producing series 14 & 15, part of UKTV’s biggest order of 72 episodes.
Staff in the Documentary & Factual Programmes department of ITV Yorkshire for over 11 years.
Founded and ran my own independent production company, Juggle, for several years (2014-2017) with a broad slate of commissions including CBBC My Life and documentaries and sketch shows for The British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust.
Broadcast Digital Awards 2023 Gamechanger Programme of the Year for Bangers and Cash. Grierson shortlist 2022 Best Entertaining Documentary series for Yorkshire Midwives on Call, RTS Yorkshire Winner 2021 Best News or Current Affair Story for Stacey Dooley and the Lockdown Babies, Edinburgh TV Festival nomination for Creativity in Crisis and AIB nomination best current affairs doc and RTS Yorkshire Winner 2021 for A Day in The Life of Coronavirus Britain.
